We know many people say, “because my relatives or loved ones are in a particular country, I must also go there.” But pause — is that country truly God’s approved destination for your destiny?
Some people are in the USA today but living lives that are not worth envying, while others are in Nigeria flourishing beyond expectation. It is not about the name of the country, it’s about God’s will for your life and about proper planning.
This is where budgeting comes in. Budget is not just for travel — it is a life principle. Budget gives you direction, helps you plan, keeps you focused and makes sure you are not stranded. In travels and in every aspect of life, budget is a key to success.
And let’s add this because many people keep asking:
*Some people will say, “I am this and that. I hold a master’s degree in physics. I am a chartered accountant in Nigeria. I have a degree in mass communication. I have a PhD in lab science. Can I get a country and a job in my profession?”*
*Whenever I hear that, we just laugh in Chinese 😂😂😂*
See the truth is this: sometimes, you cannot just land in another country and start working with your profession or certificate immediately. Don’t fall into scammers who promise you that! The first and most important thing is to get into the country first. Forget all that noise about your degree for now — even a work visa will not need all that.
Think of it this way: here in Nigeria, you might be a master’s holder in physics, but if the company you’re applying to is run by a manager whose highest qualification is ND, do you think they’ll hand you a job simply because of your certificate? No way. The same thing applies outside the country.
What I’m saying is this: go for what is available first, don’t wait for miracles. Start from somewhere. When you enter the country, take up what is available, work for some time, and from there you can now secure your dream job or switch to a role that matches your profession. Don’t despise humble beginnings — they are the stepping stones to success.
